FAQ

Will you travel to photograph my wedding?
Yes. I’ve travelled for weddings all over Ireland and am happy to do so. If it’s more than a few hour’s drive away I may have to stay overnight so I can make it to your wedding on time and to make sure I’m at my best, so there will be a small, extra fee for this. It won’t be huge though so please get in touch and I’ll give you a quote.

How about international weddings?
Yes! Just get me there and I will happily photograph your beach wedding in Thailand or your city wedding in New York. Just let me know well in advance so I can make sure to clear the time around your date as well.

Do you do just colour photos or do you also do black and white?
Yes, I love both and find that different photos lend themselves to colour or black and white. Since I shoot in digital I can make those decisions after the wedding when I’m editing the images on the computer. Certain lighting situations, weather and environments call for black and white so if you’re having a December wedding in a dark church in the late afternoon on a rainy day, or if the reception room has funky orange lighting that makes everyone’s skin turn an unflattering colour then those are the times when black and white can cover a multitude of sins. If you have a preference one way or the other you can let me know when we meet up before your wedding.

What equipment to you use, do you have a back up?
I use all professional Canon cameras and lenses. I shoot digitally and always have back up equipment on the day just in case the unthinkable happens.

Are you insured?
Yes, I’m fully insured and have full Public Liability insurance in case a venue needs to have a copy.

How do we book you?
The first step is to get in touch to find out if I’m free on your date.
If you would like we can then organise a meeting to chat and for you to see some of my albums
Choose a package, fill out my wedding questionnaire and I will draw up a contract with all the details
Pay a booking fee of €200 to secure your date
That’s it!

How long will you stay at the wedding?
As long as you’d like me to! I can be there just to cover the ceremony or I can arrive to cover the bridal preparations and stay through the speeches all the way to the fun of the first dances.

Do you include images on a disc or in digital form?
All my weddings include all the images from your wedding gallery in digital format for your own personal use. I do recommend that you back these images up in some way and while it’s great to have these images digitally the best way to preserve them is to print them and display them in some way.

How long after the wedding will we be able to see our photographs
It takes approximately 6-8 weeks to edit and process all the images from a typical wedding.
